Thomson Reuters published revised financial comparisons on 19 October following the sale of a majority stake in its Global Print business. The company had announced the transaction on 1 October.

Accounts advised by KKR acquired 51% of the business, which now operates as Westbridge Print through a joint venture. Thomson Reuters will classify Global Print as discontinued operations from the third quarter and restate the comparative periods.

On that reporting basis, its previously issued third-quarter outlook translates to approximately 9% organic revenue growth and a 35% adjusted EBITDA margin. Those figures replace the earlier comparable assumptions of roughly 8% and 36%; they are not reported quarterly results.

The company plans to provide a revised full-year outlook when it releases third-quarter earnings on 3 November.
